Animal Ordinance in Union County, Blairsville, and Suches

Eleven people attended the recent public hearing concerning the proposed amendment to the Animal Ordinance where Union County Commissioner Lamar Paris provided useful information and answered questions. One thing was very evident - people are divided on this issue. Are the amendments too strict? Are they strict enough? Everyone agreed on one thing only. Something has to be done about uncontrolled pet over-population in Union County.
