The
Aviator Café recently
opened in Blairsville,
Georgia and celebrated with
a Blairsville Union County
Chamber of Commerce ribbon
cutting. A large crowd attended
the event to show support
for the owners.
Owners James and Katherine
Wood welcomed everyone to
the Aviator Café.
James told a little about
the food, the restaurant's
beginnings, and hopes for
the future. "We want to
offer healthy food with
fresh ingredients that taste
good. We have hearty deli
sandwiches and low-carb
menu items. Our goal is
to please every customer
so please ask if you want
something special."
The Aviator Café has
an interesting menu with
everything from hoagies
and salads to smoothies
and homemade soups. The
B-1 Bomber hoagie features
roast beef, ham, turkey,
cheese, and fresh veggies.
Sandwiches and wraps come
with a side of potato salad,
macaroni salad, or coleslaw.
Gourmet sandwiches are available
on various breads including
rye, white, wheat, Kaiser
Rolls, and Panini flatbread.
Salads can be purchased
by the half-cup or the pound.
In addition to the regular
lunch and dinner menu, the
Aviator Café serves
a banana bread breakfast
starting at 9:00 a.m. with
specialty pastries. They
also offer energizing smoothies
with natural ingredients
like bananas, strawberries,
orange juice, papaya juice,
wheat germ, blueberries,
pineapple, coconut milk,
ginseng, royal jelly, ginkgo
biloba, soy protein, vitamin
C, and Echinacea. Wondering
how to add nutritional ingredients
to your diet? This is the
answer!
