Harold and Anita Woody are the new owners of Blairsville Flooring. They sell hardwood, carpet, rugs, laminate, and vinyl flooring at wholesale prices.

Blairsville Flooring carries quality name brands such as Mohawk, Beaulieu, and Shaw carpets, Bruce, Franklin, and Zickgraf wood, and Armstrong, Tarkett, and Domco vinyl. They also offer special deals to building contractors with on-site delivery available.

Store Manager Vicky Edwards says, "The Woody's took over the business on February 1, 2007 and it's been a smooth transition."

Woody has lots of experience in the flooring industry with 13 years in installation and 11 years in carpet sales. He says, "We'll be running lots of specials. Right now we're offering up to 50 yards of Berber carpet for $599 installed."

All installations are done exclusively through the store and all work is guaranteed. Harold adds, "We don't use sub-contractors so if there's a problem later on down the road our customers know who to call. All our installers are licensed and certified and we back up our work."

Anita Woody also teaches at Mountain Area Christian Academy in Morganton. The Woody's have five children and two grandchildren with one on the way. They all live nearby in Union County.

Blairsville Flooring's 8,400 square foot showroom, warehouse, and office are located in Youngstown Plaza at 359 B Murphy Hwy in Blairsville, Georgia. Hours of operation are from 8 to 5 Monday thru Friday and from 9 to 1 on Saturday.
