The Blairsville Cruisers
attracted a large crowd
of spectators and car owners
to the September 2007 Cruise-In
on the Square during Labor
Day weekend. The event offered
entertainment throughout
the evening including exciting
door prizes, raffles, and
bluegrass music by the popular
duo, Buck and Nelson.
With the Historical Courthouse
as a backdrop, visitors
get to see some of the finest
automobiles in the southeast.
It's a scene right out of
the 50's with Fords, Chevrolets,
and other makes and models
on display. All classic,
antique, muscle, or special
interest cars, trucks and
motorcycles are welcome
to participate in this free
show.
Blairsville, Georgia is
the perfect place for this
type of event. Friendly
faces, family restaurants,
and lots of really beautiful
automobiles make for a fun
outing. Local residents
and out-of-towners enjoy
the Cruise-In. Many consider
it a Saturday afternoon
tradition that is not to
be missed.
The Blairsville Cruise-Ins
are held on the 1st Saturday
of each month March through
November. The next Blairsville
Cruise-In is scheduled for
Saturday, October 6, 2007
so mark your calendars. Registration
is free and entitles car owners
to be eligible for drawings
and prizes.
