November
9, 2005 - The Cabin Depot
recently held an open house
to celebrate their grand
opening. Many people attended
the event and enjoyed a
good time and light lunch
provided by owner, Michael
Schmidt.
Cabin Depot offers a full
range of unique furniture
and home accessories. There
are five rooms of quality
wood furniture, lighting
fixtures including lamps
and antler chandeliers,
imported Milagro Coffee
from Costa Rica, and interesting,
affordable gifts. Everything
has a rustic, yet elegant
style. There are lots of
unusual items such as hand-made
root and hickory furniture.
Some of the pieces are decorated
with original tole paintings
by Schmidt's sister, Anne
Marie Marr. Custom metal
art created by local artist,
Mike Akers, is available.
With beds, tables, chairs,
quilts, stuffed animals,
candles, and coffee, there
is something for everyone.
Schmidt invites everyone
to come and browse at the
Cabin Depot. The Depot is
a complex of stores, including
Budget Blinds, located on
Chevy Drive, next to Ware
Chevrolet. The Cabin Depot
is currently open on Friday,
Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
If you're looking for new
furniture or a special gift,
visit Cabin Depot for that
special item.
