The
Good Neighbor's Auto Club
recently hosted its 23rd
Annual Car and Truck Show
in Blairsville, Georgia,
where 281 vehicles were
officially registered. One
of the largest car shows
in North Georgia, the yearly
event gets bigger each year.
Many beautiful cars and
trucks were on display and
some were for sale. Crowds
of people walked through
the rows of vehicles and
tried to pick out favorites.
With so many car and trucks,
who could choose? Even the
judges had a hard time when
it came to picking out the
best in each category.
Located on the grounds
and in the parking lot of
United Community Bank, the
family event also offered
fun games, music, door prizes,
and delicious food. A 50/50
jackpot was a highlight
of the day and the winner
went home with over $1000.
Lea English purchased the
winning ticket and was happily
surprised when her number
was called. It was an exciting
moment for all as she accepted
her prize money.
The Good Neighbor's Auto
Club awards scholarships
to graduating high school
seniors in the area each
year. They also donate money
to different charities each
month. Anyone that has an
interest in vintage cars
can join the club. The Good
Neighbor's Auto Club currently
has over 150 members. For
more information call President
Dave Deck.
