October 5, 2007 - Civic Fire Protection recently held a Blairsville Union Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. Guests joined with Chamber ambassadors in welcoming the business to the area.

President and owner Rob Taylor says, “We do business in five states – Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Georgi . Civic Fire Protection offers sales and service of fire extinguishers. We also have commercial fire and safety exit signs and emergency lights. Civic Fire Protection has been in business since 1990.”

The State of Georgia requires fire extinguishers in every commercial location and they must be serviced at least once a year. Civic Fire Protection does most work on the premises and are licensed by the State of Georgia. They are also Georgia certified and insured. Virgil Farrar is the Blairsville Sales Manager.
