The 100% cotton fabric comes in several colorful prints including corn, carrots, tomatoes, chili peppers, and green beans. They look good enough to eat! This fabric is great for aprons, table runners, and other crafts. It has arrived just in time for the Green Bean Festival so get out your idea books and start sewing.
May 7, 2010 - Fabric Center participates in Quilting Across North GeorgiaEvelyn's Fabric Center and Quilt Shop became England for a few days during this year's 5th Annual Shop Hop. Owner Evelyn Payne played her part as Queen by wearing a crown and waving to her subjects. Tea anyone? North Georgia Visits the World was the theme for the recent 2010 Shop Hop - Quilting Across North Georgia. An official passport allowed holders to participate in the festivities. Shoppers from Union County headed out to follow the assigned route, get their passports stamped at each location, collect free gifts, and find all kinds of unique quilting products. Most of all, they were inspired to start new projects! Seven fabric and quilting shops from Ellijay to Hiawassee and Dawsonville to Dahlonega participated in the shop hop. If you missed it this year, look for new passports in 2011. |
