Summr 2010 - Fun way to cool off at Blairsville, Georgia swimming hole

Mountain kids (and adults) know how to cool off when the temperature goes above 90 degrees and seems to stay there for week after week. You leave the air conditioning behind and head to the nearest swimming hole.

The Hooper Hole on Owltown Road in Union County is a great place to have some late summer fun. Trisha Garrett says, "We love to go to the Hooper Hole. It's a great place for kids to play. Adults like it, too!"

Blairsville, Georgia is home to many swimming holes, whitewater creeks, showy waterfalls, shady rivers, and beautiful lakes. What a blessing to live in a place with clean, fresh water and clean mountain air. See you at the Hooper Hole!
