October 15, 2010 - Carl and Ray’s Antiques now at 112 Wellborn Street in Blairsville, GeorgiaCarl Millhouse and Ray Graphman have been in the antique and collectible business for years. They sell everything from new artwork to old wood stoves including antique furniture, advertising signs, tobacco related items, railroad memorabilia, knives, linens, toys, tools, glassware, crocks, clocks, enamel ware, and cast iron pans. The showroom at Carl and Ray’s is full of interesting items. An1895 National cash register, a corn sheller, a Brunswick vintage phonograph with records included, an Eldridge 1891 sewing machine, and several rocking chairs dating from the 1800’s are all conversation pieces. If you have questions, Carl or Ray will be glad to answer them! The antiques store also sells Paula Millhouse’s decorative fine art, local sorghum syrup, honey, hot sauce, and fresh produce. Ray is famous around Blairsville for his tomatoes and strawberries. Ray says, “Stop in or call us. We will fill your wish list.” Carl and Ray’s Antiques is located right off the Blairsville square on Wellborn Street next to Early Bird Emporium. Business hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
