February 23, 2010 - Step Ahead Tutoring in Blairsville, Georgia

Owners Lyn George-Harbin and Debbie Sommer have recently retired from Union County Board of Education. Debbie says, “Neither one of us wanted to just sit at the house so we decided to open Step Ahead Tutoring. Tutoring gives us the flexibility to work with students but also have more free time. We both love to teach so tutoring is the perfect solution.”

Debbie and Lyn each have over 30 years of teaching experience in public schools. They now offer tutoring in grades 1 thru 8 in reading and math. Step Ahead Tutoring hires only certified teachers with experience.

Step Ahead Tutoring is currently offering a special CRCT prep program. If a parent is concerned that their child may have difficulty passing the CRCT this would be a great time to sign up for tutoring.
