C.R.A.F.T.
in Appalachia stands for
Crafters, Regional Artisans,
and Fine Tradesman in
Appalachia. The
store follows the Governor’s
vision to promote “GEORGIA
MADE, GEORGIA GROWN”,
along with the Department
of Agriculture, the Georgia
Department of Economic Development,
and numerous other state
and local organizations
that are starting to realize
the value of promoting Georgia
tourism as a sustainable
industry.
For the past
few years many symposiums and conferences
have been held all
across the state of Georgia to determine
what crafters, farmers, and artisans
need to promote their businesses. Retail
outlets are vital as the last step
before the end-user customer has an
opportunity to experience the “talents
of Georgia hands”. Thumbs up
to Janice Taylor for opening C.R.A.F.T.
Appalachia. The retail outlet promises
to be a great addition to the local
community.
C.R.A.F.T.
Appalachia is located at
1310 Young Harris Highway in Blairsville, Georgia
(across from Mountain Building
Supply). Business hours
are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
