June 20, 2008 - Deanna’s Full Service Salon recently hosted a grand opening celebration. Guests enjoyed touring the salon, free tanning sessions, goodie bags, hundred of balloons, pink decorations, cupcakes, lemonade, and other refreshments. The event went on throughout the day as people dropped by to see what all the excitement was about.

Deanna’s Full Service Salon offers complete salon and spa services including hair care (everything from cuts to up-dos), tanning beds, massage therapy, eyebrow waxing, make-up applications, manicures, pedicures, detox soaks, and other nail treatments. A full line of Redkin products are in stock. Deanna’s also carries Kenrap products, Pureology, OPI polish, nail supplies, tanning lotions, sunglasses, and body jewelry.

Owner Deanna Honsinger says she opened the new salon to utilize the talented cosmetology students graduating from NGTC’s Blairsville Campus. “I am very fortunate to have a fully licensed, professional staff. Everyone here graduated from North Georgia Technical College. We have hair stylists, nail technicians, and a massage therapist – all from NGTC.”

Owner Deanna Honsinger is also the Nail Technician Instructor at NGTC. She lives in Hayesville, North Carolina, where she has owned and operated Deanna’s Nail and Tanning Salon for eleven years.
