Banners are ready to go up, regional advertising is underway, almost 70 of the finest artists and craftsmen are scheduled, and there is a great entertainment line-up. The Butternut Creek (arts and crafts) Festival is held annually along the shady banks of Butternut Creek in Meeks Park. This year’s event takes place on July 19th and 20th.

HCA members recently met to discuss last minute details and to review festival planning updates. During the meeting volunteer workers were briefed on various duties and work was completed on the banners. Several committees reported that everything was ready for a great 2008 festival. Also during the meeting, a special 10 th Anniversary Celebration was planned to take place on Sunday morning, July 20 th at 9:30 a.m. At this time HCA members will host a small ceremony of appreciation and refreshments will be served. Commemorative 10 th Anniversary Butternut Creek T-shirts will be given to each vendor and will also be on sale during the event.
